Luminess Air Review

Hey dolls,
So I had the great opportunity to review this great product.
I'm sure you have all seen the famous infomercial on this airbrushing system. I'm going to go through the pros and cons of this system.
If you want to see a live demonstration on how to use this product please check out my Youtube video on this product:
Here is a link to the website:
Pros:
-The makeup is water based: Meaning the makeup will not clog your pores, causing your skin to break out. It will give your skin moisture and not emphasize uneven skin texture.
-The system is compact: The size of the compressor is about the size of my hand, but don't let the size fool you, it does pack power. It's great for freelancing jobs, you don't have to worry about lugging around a huge compressor.
-The unit is stylish: Not only is the whole package a decent size, but it's also stylish. The compressor is a pearl white color with an embossed butterfly, and the carrying case is a sleek and stylish snake printed carrying case that is silver. It also fits everything you need like the compressor, ac adapter, airbrush gun w/ tubing.
-Makeup that is included: Your kit will include 4 foundations, 1 blush, 1 bronzer, 1 moisturizer/primer and 1 pearlizer
-Quality of the makeup: The makeup is so light weight it literally feels like you are not wearing anything. The makeup makes your skin look fresh, healthy and moisturized.
-Price: For this beauty kit, the cost is $229.90, which is not bad for the entire kit. Compared to other airbrushing systems, this is a steal!!
Cons:
-Setting: The compressor has only one setting/speed. So if you are looking for a compressor that has different speeds, the beauty kit is probably not the kit for you.
-Makeup Finish: This makeup does leave your skin with a dewy look, so if you are looking for a matte finish to your makeup, this isn't the makeup for you.

Review: L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base

Hey beauties,
So L'Oreal Paris released their new product line, Studio Secrets Professional. I was so excited to see that they were releasing a matte face primer along with color correcting facial primers.

I broke down and bought the Magic Perfecting Base. I bought this product at my local Ulta for $12.99, but you can purchase this product at any drugstore.

So lets get into the review...

This is what L'Oreal states the product is supposed to do:
-minimizes the look of pores and fine lines
-provides a finish that's flawless
-provides a matte finish
-skin is supposed to look and feel smoothed and resurfaced
-suitable for all skin types
When I first applied the product to my face it felt heavy, and greasy. Once I smoothed the primer over my face it did not feel greasy anymore, my skin did feel silky smooth and did give my skin a matte finish, which is great considering I have combination oily skin.
The primer did minimize the look of my pores to a certain extent. It did not minimize all my visible pores. I do have fine lines around my eye area and those were NOT minimized.
After letting the primer set on my face I still noticed some flaws, so the primer did not give me a flawless look. Even with foundation application I still noticed flaws.
Since I have combination oily skin I noticed after a few hours that my skin was oily and I had to apply blot powder to get rid of the shine.
Who I would recommend this product to:
-individuals who DO NOT have oily skin
-individuals who DO NOT have problematic skin (acne scars, big pores, deep lines ect.) b/c you will not get a flawless look
-individuals who are wanting a matte finish to their skin.
