Jesse's Girl Pigments

Hey beauties, For the longest time I have been eyeing and wanting to try Jesse's Girl pigments. I had seen reviews and tutorials on Youtube of these bright, colorful pigments and instantly fell in love! If you know me, I'm all about color and vibrancy. I was heartbroken when I found out that they only carried these pigments at select Rite Aid's, which are not located anywhere near me. After some hunting, I found that they sold their products online at: www.jessesgirlcosmetics.com I instantly bought several of the pigments! Below you will sww swatches of the pigments I purchased. You will also see my final pro's and con's of Jesse's Girl pigments.

Pros:

-Price: You get 2.5 grams of product for only $4.99

-Variety: they have 28 colors to choose from

-Pigmentation: very intense color, even more intense when used wet

-Use: easy to blend, can be used in many different ways, such as a highlight, mix in a lipgloss for a custom blend, in nail polish, ect

-Packaging: sleek and fun. Twist off cap, see through container

-Can be purchased online

Cons:

-Only sold at Rite Aid's

-Finishes: They only have shimmer shades

-Neutral: if you are only into neutral colored shades, Jesse's Girl pigments may not be for you

-Fall out: Must be used with a sticky base, especially colors like Penny Arcade and Sparkle Gold

Magnolia Makeup

Hey beauties, I was just browsing Facebook looking at different cosmetic lines and came across Magnolia Makeup. I decided to purchase one of their Kaleidoscope wheels, which at the time was basically a set of 12 colors. Now they have changed the quantity to 7 and raised their prices again. When I looked at all the photos of eyeshadow looks on their Facebook page I was instantly excited and couldn't wait to try their pigments. I was also pleased to find out that they had their own webpage where you'd be able to purchase these pigments. When I received the pigments in the mail I was very disappointed, a few of the jars had exploded, they were sample 3 gram jars and they colors weren't as vibrant as the colors on their webpage and facebook page. Here is a link to their facebook page: www.facebook.com/magnoliamakeup Here is a link to their company website: www.magnolia-makeup.com Here are swatches of the pigments & below I will give the pros and cons of the product....

Pros:

-customer service is friendly and accomodating

-some of the pigments are pigments like: Kente, Sphinx, and Envy

-they have a variety of colors to choose from

-secute checkout with Paypal

Cons:

-a lot of the colors I purchased aren't that pigmented, the swatches were really packed on

-the consistency of the shadows are chalky and hard to work with

-the pigments do not stick well to bases

-they are expensive for 12 3 gr jars it was originally $70 but they were on sale for $50

-the colors aren't as bright and vivid like the photos on their website and facebook page

-the pigments weren't packaged well which resulted in several of the pigments exploding in transit.

Overall thought: I wouldn't recommend these pigments. There are several other cosmetic companies out there that offer similar colors that are cheaper, are more pigmented and have more in the jar.

take care loves,

xoxo

INAZ PIgments

Hey beauties, Todays post is about a cosmetic line I descovered on Facebook. I'm going to do a thorough review on thes pigments. Here is a link INAZ's facebook page where you can purchase these products: www.facebook.com/inazcosmetics So let's get straight into the pros and cons.... Pros: -pigmentation is amazing!!! -company offers sample size and really reasonable prices -there are many color choices to choose from -customer service is friendly, helpful and quick to respond -shipping time is fast -lasting power of the pigment is great! -a very little bit of the product goes a long way, making your pigment last longer -texture of pigments are smooth, creamy and soft Cons: -the sample containers have a flip top, which can pose a problem when opening, meaning the pigment can pop out of the container. -the company name and pigment color are handwritten -the variety of textures are slim. I wish there was a wider variety of textures such as matte, satin, ect. -they do not have a company website, the company is based on facebook Here are pictures of the swatches of the pigments I purchased... Overall thoughts: I would definately recommend these pigments. I just can't get over the pigmentation and the price! Definately check them out on facebook :) If you want to see tutorials using these pigments check out my Youtube page: www.youtube.com/laura62484 xoxo Laura
